LHC, BICEP2, Multiverse
I saw Particle Fever recently at Film Forum. It was a lot of fun, especially if you have been following LHC news over the past few years. Here's the trailer:

I didn't really understand what was at stake when the Higgs Boson was confirmed last year. In fact, it's safe to say I barely understand it now. But the movie does a good job of explaining that a lighter mass of the Higgs (115 giga-electron-volts) would have put a lot of support behind Supersymmetry, while a heavier mass (140 GeV) would have suggested the Multiverse. Spoiler alert, the Higgs weighs 125 GeV, asking more questions than it answers!
In other news, gravitational waves are now a real thing, so chalk one up to the multiverse. I can't wait to see the documentary on BICEP2!
